Diversifying into digital design and video editing expanded my skill-set in the world of Premiere Pro. I discovered the value of the creative process in story-telling, cinematography, and photography within a digital medium, expanding on innovative ideas based around personal interests such as film-making, football, and podcasting. Processes often involved brainstorming script ideas, planning out sequences, and experimenting with different visuals and sound effects. This creative process created a unique identity on our videos, which has been our stamp ever-since.
The channel became an opportunity to showcase photography and express creativity into 'real-life' story-telling that held value to our audience. Videos such as 'Bald at 21... 1 year on | Baldcafe', was a prime example of this process, exceeding 50,000 views. See below:
Collaboration with London-based illustrator Dayrl Rainbow, created a core identity for the early stages of the YouTube channel, when the content was primarily football based. This visual identity would consistently feature across videos as a 'Sam and Charlie' vision.
